From December 9 to 14, the Azerbaijan Tourism Board organized a familiarization trip for representatives of six leading Turkish travel agencies to showcase the country's cultural heritage, natural landscapes, and tourism potential.

During the visit, participants explored Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, gaining insights into its tourism opportunities. As part of the itinerary, they visited several key touristic sites, including the Kangarli Mountains and the Alinja Fortress, among other significant locations.

Additionally, the Turkish delegation engaged in B2B (business-to-business) meetings with nearly 20 local tourism companies, discussing potential partnerships and future cooperation prospects.

Between January and November 2024, the number of Turkish visitors to Azerbaijan reached 389,173, reflecting a 14% increase compared to the same period in 2023.
